Built by the Pribnow Family, From the Ground Up
Our mountain cabin is more than a place to stay. It is a place our family poured our hearts into, one board, one nail, and one long trip at a time.
We bought the land in 2018 and built this cabin from the ground up with the help of friends and family, and every part of it tells a piece of our story. What started as a dream became a four-year journey filled with hard work, long days, late nights, and more memories than we could ever count. There was plenty of blood, sweat, and tears along the way, but there was also laughter, teamwork, faith, and the joy of watching something truly special come to life.
For every trip to work on the cabin, we traveled eight hours one way. Over the course of building our cabin, our family made 55 round trips from Scribner, Nebraska to Centennial, Wyoming. That added up to more than 60,000 miles on the road and about 880 hours behind the wheel – nearly 37 full days of driving just to bring this dream to life.
Today, our cabin stands as a reminder of what love, patience, and family can build.
A Place That Means So Much to Us
Because this cabin was built by our own hands, it holds a very special place in our hearts. It is not just an investment property or another rental. It is our family’s mountain getaway, filled with years of effort, sacrifice, and memories.
We are excited to share it with guests who will enjoy the peace, beauty, and comfort of the mountains. Our hope is that families, couples, and friends can come here to relax, reconnect, and make memories of their own.
At the same time, we ask every guest to understand how much this place means to us. We welcome guests who will treat the cabin with the same care and respect they would give to a home of their own. If you are looking for a place to party, be careless, or ignore the house rules, this is not the right cabin for your stay.

This cabin was built with family at the center of it all. From the earliest stages of construction to the finishing touches, our family worked together to create a warm and welcoming place in the mountains.

The Story Behind the Name
The name “This Is Livin’” came from a simple family saying that has become very special to us.
Over the years, whenever we were sitting by the fire, having a picnic in the mountains, laughing together, or just enjoying the beauty around us, my dad would look around and say, “This is livin’!”
It was his way of saying, this is what life is all about, being together, enjoying the moment, and making memories in a place we love.
After hearing it so many times during our mountain adventures, the name just stuck. It became more than a saying. It became the feeling we wanted our cabin to represent.
To us, “This Is Livin’” means slowing down, spending time with the people you love, having fun together, and appreciating the simple moments that become the best memories.
